Bear crawls? I like it.

I have no idea what they are but they sound like the sort of thing that would make a man tough.

Where is it that you work out, by the way? You seem to have access to some pretty cool equipment that I don't normally see at gyms--tires, KB's...the bear crawl station.

bear crawls simply clambering across the floor on hands and feet. Putting dumbells or KBs in each hand make them significantly more challenging.
All you need for a "bear crawl station" is some open floor.

I work out 2 places:
one is a commercial gym near my home that has lifting platforms, cardio gear, and bumper plates for oly lifting.

The second is the boathouse where my wife rows, and I used to. The club owns some weights, a squat rack, and loads of ergometers (aka rowing machines) The kettle bells the wife and I bought. The tires I got from a local tire place. I got 4 well used tires for nothing. I am hoping someday to get a tractor tire for flipping, and dragging but there isn't enough space at the boathouse.
