CES, pork steaks are $1.99/lb out here. No one buys them. They're scrap.

Most important thing is to get RIPE plantains, put in a couple tablespoons of olive oil and pan fry on fairly low temp. Throw in some salt, maybe some garlic. I have tried every other method, and if you roast they either stick, burn, or turn into goo.
